Day 01

Cochin

 

Arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway station. Our tour coordinator will assist you and transfer you to your accommodation for check-in. Evening visit to Marine Drive.

Enjoy the sunset and have a stroll on the walkway and then back to your accommodation.

Day 02

Cochin-Munnar

 

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Munnar, one of the most exotic hill stations worldwide, and one of the main reasons for calling Kerala God’s Own Country.

Before reaching Munnar a gift from the mother nature on the name of Valara famous for it's panorama of waterfalls, rolling hills and long treaks which is like a feast for the eyes. Check into a hotel, refresh yourselves .

Munnar Tea Hills, Tea Gardens

Munnar's Specialty lies in its lush green and beautiful tea gardens covered with thin la

yer of clouds every time. This makes it one of the very important reasons for the travellers to get attracted toward green valley to celebrate their holidays.

Mattupetty Dam

 

The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with the variety of birds found there. Small streams and waterfalls cut through the tract here and there, which again adds more attraction to the place. Boating is also allowed on Mattupetty Lake and combined with picnic and trekking, makes for a great outing from Munnar.Mattupetty Dam was built in the late 1940’s.

Echo Point

 

On your way from Mattupatti Dam to Munnar, A thrilling place for adventure tourism and tracking in mist-clad hills giving panoramic view. The place has natural echo phenomenon due to its big lake surrounded by mountains. Most visitors here cannot resist the temptation of yodeling or shouting out into the air and delighting at the multiple echoes that ring back at you.

Kundale Lake

 

Another Place apart from Dall lake (J&K), which have beautiful Shikara ride in the valley surrounded by eucalyptus trees giving the minty fragrance in the air. You enjoy Kashmiri Shikaras here in Munnar. Smell in the air.

Top Station

 

Top Station is 41 km from Munnar, and is appropriately named. This is the main abode to the highest tea plantations of India. It is located on the borders of both the states, Kerala as well as Tamilnadu and dictates an absolute panoramic view. Tourists keep visiting top station as it is in the Theni district of Tamil Nadu and Idukki district of Kerala. It is at an altitude of 1700 meters.

Eravikulam National Park

Pothamedu (Pothanmedu, Potamed) is a small village which is six kilometers away from Munnar.The extended area has vast tracts of tea, coffee and cardamom plantations. Like other parts of Munnar, Pothamedu is blessed with its share of mighty green hills.. It is destination of most of the trekkers.Look for Zigzag roads and high altitude viewpoints.The rolling hills, the lush mountain and the beautiful scenery here is ideal for trekking and long mountain walks.

Day 03

Munnar-Thekkady

 

After breakfast proceed to Thekkedy,one of the best-run Check in to your accommodation and enjoy the boating on the waters of the Periyar reservoir. In the evening. enjoy real wild life experience at first hand. Visit the spice plantations in the surrounding area and also enjoy some shopping for exotic spices. Overnight stay at the Resort. Day 04

Thekkady-Kumarakom

 

After breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom Kumarakom which is renowned worldwide for its extensive backwaters and its migratory birds. Around 12 Noon check in to the Houseboat and enjoy an over night cruise cum stay in your houseboat.

Food will be served in the houseboat. Enjoy the unique experience of a day on backwaters in a houseboat, and meander through the labyrinth of canals, that makes Kumarakom a top world destination. Kumarakom - Cochin
